Five days ago Siri prematurely leaked the upcoming Apple WWDC dates
When asked about the event, Siri is excited and advises the user to find out all about WWDC on Apple’s website. Apple’s yearly event for developers, the WWDC 2016 was announced for June 13th – 17th 2016 in the city of San Francisco. The website https://developer.apple.com/wwdc/ provides how to buy tickets to this years conference and everything else.
The deadline to register is today April 22nd, by 10:00am Pacific Daylight Time for a chance to attend. In order to register for the lottery, a person must be a registered member of the Apple’s Developer Program, prior to this announcement. The successful applicants will be notified on Monday April 25th by 5:00pm PDT. The price of this year’s event is $ 1599 and will be charged to your default credit card with your Apple ID.
Four years ago all 5,0000 Apple WWDC tickets sold out within two hours. Many developers were upset, that without any prior notice, they could not purchase the tickets at time of release 5:30am PDT. In 2013, Apple WWDC tickets were announced in advance, however within two minutes of the release,the event was sold out again. The next year, Apple started a new approach, issuing tickets on a first come basis with a chance to win a ticket by registering for a lottery by random selection.
As with previous years, Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, will furnish developers the opportunity to meet with more than 1,000 Apple engineers and attend hands-on labs, with over 100 technical sessions and more.

WWDC 2016 is going to be a landmark event for developers who are coding in Swift, and building apps and products for iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS. We can’t wait for everyone to join us — in San Francisco or through the live stream.
