This is the latest in the line of the legendary note taking devices used by writers over the last two hundred years. The Paper Tablet feels like a composition notebook yet is designed with extended rounded edges to look like a tablet. The Paper Tablet uses invisible NCode™ technology embedded within each page. This allows the Moleskine Pen+ to recognize where it is inside the notebook in real-time. It allows you to smoothly edit, organize and share handwritten notes and sketches for seamless integration between paper and cloud.

The Pen+ is a slim aluminum pen that’s engineered with a hidden camera that traces and digitizes everything you write. It’s a custom-branded version of the Neo Smartpen, tracking movements of the pen’s tip on the notebook’s pages. The Pen+, also using invisible NCode™ technology, accurately tracks the writing movements and the position on the page being used.

The Moleskine Notes App for IOS complements the set with a place to store notes and sketches. The handwritten notes are captured from the Pen+ in real time to the digital device by using a Bluetooth connection. The app also provides additional functionality such as translating handwritten notes to editable text. As an added bonus, sharing your work is possible using email or services such as Evernote. Transcribing is another feature that turns handwriting into legible text. You can also use the built-in microphone for recording audio files along with pen to paper notes.
